Training programme on EBSCO Business Source Elite
On 13th September 2023, the Central Library successfully conducted a training programme on EBSCO at Conference Hall, Department of Business Administration, Tezpur University.
Mr. Anuj Kumar Singh, Information Scientist extends a warm greeting to all the participants and the Resource Person Mr. Abhinash Choudhary, Training Manager, EBSCO for his presence at this event.
Mr. Abhinash Choudhary delivers an informative presentation about EBSCO Inc. and provides hands-on experience with the EBSCO Business Source Elite product. He thoroughly explains all the major functionalities allowing users to easily search and access the fulltext articles with ease. In addition, he highlighted several add-on features, such as boolean search, regional language translation, audio conversion, RSS feed subscription, sharing via permalink / email, dedicated folder to access saved articles, and access to year-wise issues, etc. In conclusion, a brief quiz on the EBSCO product was administered to the participants as a means of fostering awareness in which Mr. Ankur Dhar, student of commerce department; Ms. Vaishali Singh and Mr. Trideep Borsaikia, PhD scholars of business administration department were awarded merchandise from EBSCO for their successful performance in the quiz.
Prof. Chandan Goswami, Dean of the School of Management, expresses his appreciation and congratulates Mr. Abhinash Choudhary for his interesting presentation and encourages the students and research scholars to utilize the subscribed resources.

The programme was attended by faculty members, students and research scholars of Tezpur University.
