Borrowing Privileges

Any bonafide member of Tezpur University can avail themselves of the borrowing facilities of the Central Library. The members should be as follows;

• Faculty Members
• Students/ Research Scholars
• Non-Teaching Staffs
• Any other Person/ Institutions

Provided that a person other than the above categories may be allowed to become a member of the library as a special case on a request in writing from the person concerned. The decision of the Librarian in this regard shall be final. If a person is allowed to become a library member, he/she shall pay an annual membership fee and a security deposit.

OVERDUE FINE POLICY

Books taken on loan must be returned or renewed on or before the due date; failing which, the user concerned will incur charges for each overdue item as per the following rules: -

RECALL POLICY

The librarian reserves the right to recall any books/ documents from members at any time.
