The Central Library, Tezpur University is one of the finest academic libraries in the northeastern part of India. We endeavour to shape our information to cater for the needs of our students, research scholars, and faculty members by means of continuous as well as constructive feedback and recommendations. The Central Library aims not only to provide information but also to empower the academic community with enriching collections and innovative services along with strategic partnerships with national and international library networks. It has a comprehensive and diverse collection of academic resources that provides a wide range of resources to support learning, teaching, research, and discovery. In addition to our collection, the library offers access to various online databases and e-resources from eShodhSindhu (eSS) & DeLCON consortium.

The Central Library is uniquely located in the heart of the campus to serve as a central learning hub for the university and its community members. Our experienced library team is committed and dedicated to strengthening the learning and research activities by actively collaborating and participating in various academic and research programmes.

To support academic and research activities the library provides various sections such as Multiple Reading Hall, Digital Resource Centre & ETD Labs, Children Library, Group Discussion Room, Braille Section for Specially abled Users, and many more.

The Central Library has a dedicated staff for research support assistance to ensure that you attain your maximum potential by providing the appropriate materials and resources.
